DMSI relies on active energy flooding and manipulation, which the subconscious does not continue doing for very long after you stop using the program. You may create a long term energy shield, for example, but it won’t have the benefit of active energy flooding.
The more long term the effect of the programming, the more well it will stand up to using another programming.
Energy is fleeting. I can turn on MIR 2.1 (which is based almost entirely in energy flooding) and feel the effects kick in in minutes. If I turn it off, I see the effects of that program fade in between minutes and a couple hours. It requires constant direction for the subconscious mind to do energy flooding.
But working your way through a traumatic experience will produce a permanent change. Growing past your fears and outgrowing beliefs and actions that no longer serve you will be permanent. There are various things that are done that produce various degrees of permanence to their results.
So the amount one program will derail or overwrite another depends on what a program must do to achieve it’s goals, how far along you are in the process of achieving it’s goals, and how permanent that progress will be based on what is being done and how.
It’s not that the programs are aimed at being temporary. It’s a matter of how permanent the building blocks required to make it achieve its goal are.
